Kaylee is an Emerald Coast native, and the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area has always been home. So it made sense that her senior session spots would be the places that have made her who she is. And she knew exactly what she wanted, which was no surprise, either. After all, she lists math as her favorite subject because she said she definitely likes to be right or wrong, not somewhere in the middle.
In spite of a nerve-wracking first day when she couldn’t find her classes, Kaylee enjoyed high school. Those years were filled with dance team and adventures with her two besties, Lawren and Gabby. Boating in the Bahamas for two weeks and falling in during a fully-clothed winter SUP session are funny, favorite scenes in the highlight reel with these cherished friends.
One of Kaylee’s most memorable academic moments, though, was when she received an award from the Emerald Coast Exchange Club. Arriving to a room full of supporters, she realized her hard work in school really paid off. And one of the people she credits for that success is a favorite teacher, Mrs. Marez.
“She was so helpful,” Kaylee said. “Anytime I didn’t know how to do something, she would explain it until I understood.”
By the time you read this, Kaylee will likely be settling into her new place at the University of Florida. She credits her faith in Jesus as the cornerstone of her life, and we can’t wait to see the impact she makes on her new campus. The Pure7 family wishes you all the best, Kaylee!
Let us know if you want to get your senior session on the books. You could take advantage of the fabulous fall weather that will be here before you know it, and guess what that means? You’ll get a jump on some awesome Christmas presents for the grandparents. #youwinchristmas
